1. Agreement to these Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Dynamic Notch: Island Bar ("the App"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App and uninstall it.
2. The service
The App provides an on-device Dynamic Island–style notch bar / overlay for status such as media, charging, timers, and notification cues. Features depend on Android version, device OEM, and permissions you grant. We do not guarantee identical behavior on every device.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Google Play's terms.
4. Permissions
You understand that certain features require system permissions (overlay, notification access, Accessibility). You are responsible for reviewing Android's permission screens and granting only what you accept. Misuse of Accessibility or other sensitive APIs is prohibited. The App's intended use is described in the App and Privacy Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer the App except where allowed by law, not to misuse the App to harm others or violate law, and not to redistribute modified copies in a way that infringes our rights or Play policies.
6. No data collection commitment
As stated in the Privacy Policy, we do not collect personal data, do not use Firebase Analytics or similar analytics, and do not place advertisements in the App. Local preferences may be stored on your device only.
7. Intellectual property
The App name, branding, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. "Dynamic Island" may be associated with third-party trademarks; the App is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. or other trademark owners unless explicitly stated.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or Android build.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR ZERO IF THE APP WAS FREE).
10. Device and OEM limitations
Some manufacturers restrict overlays, autostart, Accessibility, or battery background work. Those limitations are outside our control. You may need to allow autostart or disable battery optimizations for reliable operation after reboot.
11. Updates and changes
We may update the App through Google Play. We may also update these Terms. The effective date will change when Terms are updated. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop distributing the App or change features. Provisions that by nature should survive (disclaimer, limitation of liability, IP) survive termination.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer laws in your country require otherwise. Those mandatory rights remain available to you.
