Dynamic Notch: Island Bar

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 9, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Dynamic Notch: Island Bar ("the App", "we", "us") handles information. We built the App to show a Dynamic Island–style overlay on your device. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. No personal data collection

We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal data. The App does not create user accounts, does not require sign-in, and does not upload your content to our servers. We do not operate a backend that receives your personal information.

3. No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs

The App does not include Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, advertising SDKs, attribution SDKs, or similar third-party tracking tools. We do not show ads and we do not track you across apps or websites for advertising or analytics.

4. Permissions and on-device processing

To provide features, the App may request sensitive permissions that you explicitly approve:

All of this processing happens on your device for the App's features. We do not send notification contents, screenshots, or accessibility event text to remote servers.

5. Local settings only

The App may store preferences locally on your device (for example language, Island on/off, position, and appearance). These settings stay on the device and are not synced to us. Uninstalling the App removes the App's local data according to Android's normal uninstall behavior.

6. Internet and network

The App is designed to work without collecting data over the internet. We do not use the App to phone home with personal information. If the operating system or another app on your device processes related data under its own policies, that is outside this App's control.

7. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through means outside this App, contact us via the Play Store listing.

8. Data security

Because we do not collect personal data on our servers, there is no personal-data database of yours on our side to breach. You should still protect your device with a lock screen and keep Android updated.

9. Your choices

You can revoke overlay, notification access, or Accessibility at any time in Android Settings. You can turn the Island off in the App or uninstall the App. Revoking permissions may limit or disable features.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product or legal changes. The effective date at the top will be revised when we do. Continued use after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy. Material changes will be reflected in-app where practical.

11. Contact

For privacy questions about Dynamic Notch: Island Bar, contact us through the Google Play Store listing for this App (developer contact / support options shown there).

12. Play Store disclosures

This policy is intended to support Google Play User Data and related policies by clearly stating that the App does not collect personal or sensitive user data, does not use the listed permissions to transmit personal data off-device, and does not use advertising or analytics SDKs.
